Finola Durnin-Duffy | Research Assistant

Finola Durnin-Duffy is a BA student of Arabic and Linguistics at the University of Leeds and a Laidlaw Scholar. She was recruited as a research assistant for ‘Making it to the Registers’ as part of the Laidlaw Scholars programme. Finola’s contribution will focus on the history of the registration of internationally trained nurses in Britain. Having studied in Morocco, she is interested in the migration of healthcare workers from developing countries.
